Sam Thompson started nimblestone on leaving Cambridge Technology
Partners in 2001. After arriving in Dublin in 1999 from Sydney, Australia, he
enjoyed three successful years with Cambridge as a senior developer, technical
team manager and technical architect, and worked on projects in a variety of
technologies and sectors.
Starting in 1996, Sam led the development efforts of CyberSoft Corporation's
Visual Eyes, their flagship retail software package for desktop PC video
conferencing. In 1994, he joined IBM as a technical support analyst, working
with a group of writers, graphic designers and software developers on a range of
multimedia projects for print, CD-ROM and video delivery.
Sam holds a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) from the University of
Technology, Sydney.
